DAY TWO....Getting There

This morning was

really hard

but I've only had 4 cigs today--yea me!

I may or may not have thrown something at work today. But then everyone saw me do it. "You gonna make it, girl?" my boss asked.

"Allan, you better just leave her alone!" Martha called out.

Alright, so it was only a cotton shirt that I threw. Sadly, cotton doesn't have that satisfying thud when it lands.

Oh well.

I looked at Martha and began to quickly twitch my neck to the right while blinking only me right eye, to make it look as though I had suddenly developed an awful tick. At least in all my cynicism, I can still make people laugh.

A word of caution to all you drivers:

We are out there, and with Cigarette prices going up, we are many and we are abundant. Drive defensivly because we are ticked off and all have road rage. God help us... I wonder how many ex-smokers are out there driving?

Well, four that I know of.

Mom is doing well, and so is Dad. Neither has smoked at all in 4 days. Mom is excited she is doing so well. I pray to God this is the last time all fou of us quit. Remember us during this time...pray for my mom. If she doesn't quit now, she won't be around too much longer. This has to be it for her. This has to be the end of smoking for her.

God, it's not a mountain. Please deliver us from this addiction...
