Storm Damage

Last Thursday, after that huge store and after my mother in law's angiogram, it was 5:48 am and I was driving along the interstate on my way to work.

I was coming up on a large white object fast. What was it? It looked like the hood of a car! Did someone lose the hood of their car? As I came up on the large object I soon realized it had lettering on it. I closed in on it and saw in big blue letters:

J E E P

I glanced over to my right where the Jeep dealership stands and laughed as I noticed one whole side of their sign was missing. They should've went with the cheaper vinyl like the Harley Davidson store. Their sign was shredded! In fact, as of yesterday, there was still chunks hanging from the sign frame.

But at least the vinyl is safer in the middle of the interstate.


As for my groceries, I think I did pretty well. I spent about $50 at HEB and $80 at Wal-Mart. I didn't replace everything and I forgot a few things that we actually needed. Not to mention I just dropped $134 on the dogs' shots and the cat still nets to be tied up inside so we don't end up with a litter of little demon seeds (see pasts posts on our psycho cat) Though no matter; it looks like overtime is in the works. I got 43 hours this past week so I'm gonna enjoy the long weekend while I can.

That means trying to sell as much as I can on eBay. :-D
Maybe sometime I can squeeze in a few minuets on my new music video.
