My mother in law, Marge had open heart surgery on Wednesday. A double bi pass and a valve replacement. She is 2 months away from turning 69 and is diabetic. We had a good scare and the first night was quite worrisome but I do believe everything is going to be OK now.
While we are all exhausted, I actually have a couple funny stories to go along with all this, such as a security guard referring to three of us as "perps" and the cops being called once. (We're a feisty bunch)
I'll have to save that for another time. I'm very behind in my eBaying and must get to work asap!
For now, I'd simply like to very sincerely thank everyone who prayed for Marge. When I pray, God always has an answer. Sometimes "yes" sometimes "no" sometimes "maybe". And sometimes God simply laughs at me saying, "You want what?!"
If you want to make God laugh, just tell Him your plans.
Anyway, our prayers have been answered thoroughly and it couldn't be going better now. Every day a tube or some such thing is removed and that's a good thing considering all the mechanical devices coming out of Marge's body.
Thank you, my must-be-bored faithful readers, for all your prayers and support. Our prayers have been answered by 10 fold, more than we ever asked for.
