Dog the Bounty Hunter: "I'm not black"

Who! Who! Who! ....Who let the Village People Out?!
....More importantly, who left the Village People in the sun?

I'm sure you've heard by now that Dog the Bounty Hunter is on an apology tour for using the N word repeatedly in a private phone conversation. In one interview he says, "I now realize that I am not black."

We all know that Dog had done drugs in his younger years, but yeesh! It must've been some pretty hard drugs!

I've always been fond of Dog because of what he does, for helping others get their lives together, for chasing down a rich man's son who had raped 80+ woman. Dog says he used the N word because he thought it was "cool" with "the brothers".

Um, no. You see, it doesn't work like that. If you're not black and you have a black friend who is cool with it, you may say it front of them. But no one else. That's the rule.

It's like how chicks affectionately call each other B. B is a good way to say --tch when in front of people who do not approve. As in you're in public and you mutter to your girlfriend, "That woman was such a B!"

Now that we've explained that, some girls jokingly or affectionately call each other --tch, but not necessarily their mothers. At work, I hear girls calling each other trick, but they would never jokingly or otherwise call their mother a trick.

It's "cool" to use certain words with certain people if they are "cool" with it. Some hate certain words all together. For example, I HATE the N word. I don't use it and I hate to hear others use it whether they are black, or white with black friends, or a Mexican trying to act black, or whatever. It's an ugly word just like the C word. I don't call my friends the C word because it's ugly. They don't call me the C word because they know I don't like it.

....And then there's the R word, the T word, the Y word, the M word.....HA HA!!!!

OK, enough jokes. The cable station A&E has been rumored to have pulled Dog's reality show, and I can't verify that because I don't have time to watch TV anymore. If they do that though, they're stupid. Regardless of what this man said in a private phone conversation, it was a PRIVATE PHONE CONVERSATION. And he's been a pretty big cash cow for A&E, I'm sure.

I'm not defending the Dog, don't get me wrong. However, I've seen and heard MUCH WORSE on reality and scripted television shows and I don't think his show deserves to be pulled because of something he said off-camera.

Leave it to TV to pull a show that is decent and about helping people while being entertaining and funny at the same time. Oh, wait, I get it. There's no constant talk about sex, flashing of boobs and butts and the show is probably losing ratings and A&E needs an excuse to pull it.

Go ahead A&E, pull your only show worth watching. As for the rest of us, all that's left is a show about two has-been actors named Corey in a reality show that partially scripted.

Huh?

Dog is such an idiot!

Using the N word is a bit of a grey area now. I blame hip hop artists for trying to "change the meaning of the word"

You can't change the meaning of the word 'blue' can you? So why try change the meaning of a word. Use another word to address your "black brothers" its not like there's a shortage of words to use!

Ah ha! But that is where the confusion lies, friend.

To say one is sad, we say, "She is blue." Not the same as in the color of blue.

The English language is the most confusing of all languages after Australian.

HA HA!!
