MeMe...oh pardon me, ME at my parents' house about a year ago. (Yes, I am aware that I used this pic before. It's the only good pic of me in my possession. Darn that daylight!)
“So, here’s the challenge: make a list of five strengths that you possess as a writer/artist. It’s not really bragging, it’s an honest assessment (forced upon you by this darn meme). Please resist the urge to enumerate your weaknesses, or even mention them in contrast to each strong point you list. Tag four other writers or artists whom you’d like to see share their strengths."
I was tagged by Dazzle http://somethingtosmileaboutdaszzle.blogspot.com/ to create a MeMe. My first thought was, "What the heck is a MeMe?!!"
OK, so here I go....
1. I like to change it up. If I'm in a dark mood, I may write in a darker tone. If Jim Carrey can do dramas and thrillers, I can try my hand at dark writing. My strength on this is that most of the time I do not embrace my dark mood. I like to keep my funny blog, well, funny. If I'm really grouchy, but I have a funny topic on mind, I'll go ahead and write as funny as possible, no matter how much I hate the world at the moment.
2. I keep it real. Everything I write is truly honest. I don't embellish, I don't add things to kick it up a notch. AND, I like to use spel chec....Advice taken from a fellow blogger.
3. I'll leave ya hangin'. Many have wrote to me saying that I should go ahead and write more about my family. I'll give ya enough to keep you coming back for more. When I'm ready, I'll write more. When I'm sure that none of my family will sue me, I'll write more. When my readers are ready, I'll explain more. It's like opening a gift from Great Aunt Suzie. Sure it's a gift, you really like gifts, but do you think you really want to see what's inside the box?
4. I keep it clean. Sometimes, I really do want to type that curse word! But I know there are just some things some people don't wanna see. Clean writing is readable for everyone. I don't care for curse words strewn about--not very intelligent writing.
Take my advice, fellow bloggers. Only some will read the F Bomb over and over. Many will read your stuff if you simply leave it out.
5. I don't keep a journal. I like to write about a variety of things. I don't just write about ME ME ME LOOK AT ME OVER HERE!!! I make comments to my husband about something going on in the news, and suddenly I feel my joke is good enough to be shared with the entire world. Or at least the handful of readers that I have. (it's a start....watch out, world)
Here's some more advice: You don't have to write about every single detail of your every day. If something happens to me that's interesting enough, by golly, I'll write about myself. Like the time The Rock spat on me at a WWF (WWE) show. That should get you running a search here. I write about anything and everything that deems write-worthy. If it hold my husband's attention, bet your sweet bippy that I'm writing it down.

I loved it! Very smart. Totally off topic, but how old are you? Isn't it always amazing to finally see what we all look like. It's like you said... we let these things out when we're ready and we see fit. :)
I'm all for #2. lol :)
I'll turn 27 this March. ...I know, I look like I'm 16 HA HA!!
