YOU might find it funny. I didn't.

On Thursday I had a heck of a day. When I got home I decided to do some yard work. Shawn has the key to the garage so I have to lug the lawn mower up the steps, through the kitchen door, then maneuver it out the back door. I decided to trim the jungle in the alley. I ran the extension cord and got the reciprocating saw going. About ten minutes into it, the blade broke.

I decided to mow the grass on the alley side of the fence because when Shawn was doing the mowing (before he hurt his knee) he ALWAYS forgot the alley. I wore myself out completely just getting the mower started because I forgot to hold down the handle. Duh, Misty. Duh.

I worked my way to the front yard and our neighbor's dog, Baby, got out. They were still at work so I tried to get the dog back into their yard. She'd dug a humongous hole by the fence so I went into our yard to find something to plug it up with. Baby followed me into my own yard, unbeknown to me, and trotted into the laundry room since I had left the back door open.

And of course the dog was muddy because it had lightly started to rain. I got baby out and plugged the hole with a bunch of bricks. I started mowing the front yard and by now it was raining pretty well, but not hard enough that I couldn't finish mowing. I saw a huge streak of lightning and figured I'd better hurry.

And guess who comes trotting up next to me? Sigh. I couldn't get Baby back into the yard. I found two large round concrete stepping stones in my neighbor's yard and plugged the hole. After ten minuets of wrestling Baby into the yard, I was covered in mud and dog. I pushed the wet, muddy mower through the back door, someone landed the handle between my thumb and the door jamb.

It's still bruised and swollen. I dragged the mower through the kitchen and down the steps into the garage. The kitchen was a muddy mess. Figures. I had swept and mopped just a couple days before. I kicked my shoes off into the mud and left it all there till the next day.

Then I just cried. And cried. I cried in the shower. I cried while getting dressed. I couldn't do anything else. My job had me exhausted. eBay had me discouraged. And I really didn't want to put a fist hole into the wall. So I cried.

I don't know when or how but at some point I had injured my right shoulder. it still hurts today and makes a sort of clicking noise when I rotate it. Shawn still doesn't know about all this.

I had put Finding Nemo in the DVD player and fell asleep.

I have a habit of punching the wall when I'm mad, but I can't hit hard enough to put a whole in the wall. I just wind up hurting myself. I should try crying in the shower instead. :o)

Maybe next time you mow the grass it'll be better! Or heck, hire someone else to do it!

Hey, chin up, just lightening up the mood you know. I am sure your wall doesnt need any more holes( I know mine doesnt, lol) so keep the Rocky Balboa act for when you really need it:)
