Alright, so I'm a little behind in my reviews. And I really do not even know how I got off on DVD reviews. I think it all started one day when I was really, really, very much blocked. And all I've put on our NetFlix list are comedies. And who doesn't love to laugh? I mean really! So here I am, trying to help you out, find movies that are worth watching.
I mean, not all of us go to the theater for every single movie we want to see. Heck, some of us (hi there) only go to the theater about every six months. And I can't possibly remember what movies I want to see, much less watch enough TV to see them advertised. So there! Nnnnhh!
*sticks out tongue*
This movie is REALLY GOOD!!! Robin Williams stars as Tom Dobbs, a Jon Stewart type with a Daily Show-type-program running for president. And whoops! He's elected!
Much of the dialogue is sadly, scripted. Of course if you've ever seen Williams get going, you know the director couldn't just let him take off. It might end up a six hour movie! Some bits and lines you may recognize, for example one of Lewis Black's jokes taken directly from his stand-up routine.
But do not fret! Christopher Walken is excellent, as always. Robin Williams is hilarious as always. And Lewis Black cleaned up his language as---no, no--for a change!
The film take a turn about half-way through and adds a bit of suspense, but sticks to its comedic guns in the end. So, yes. Definitely worth a rental fee.

Damian and I watched this over the summer. I would have to say it is one of if not the best dvd rental of the summer.
As for Krystal, it is actually WAY better than White Castle. It's just one of those foods that will go straight through the digestive system. You cannot eat it without feeling guilty...and gross.
I haven't seen this movie, but now I want to...maybe this weekend. We'll see.
And to comment on Steph's comment to your comment on her blog...lol. Did that make sense? Anyway, I've never eaten at White Castle, so I can't comment on them, but Krystal's hamburgers are NASTY. (And I think this is the 2nd time I've commented on your blog today with the word nasty...but anyway...) I always have to get their chicken when John Marc gets a Krystal craving...
A little back story for other commenters:
Skittle ate at Krystal (ew) and they put cheese on her sandwich. Mansy comments what cheese is weird, along with everyone who eats it.
Mandy is very pregnant. 'Nuff said.
By the way Mandy, I LOVE cheese. (and yeah, I'm weird too--but cheese is glorious regardless! Go get you a pizza and be weird)
