Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector DVD Review

In all honesty, I thought this was gonna dumb, lame, and not worth my time. However, it seems I judged the flannel shirt by its missing sleeves. I like the Blue Collar Comedy guys, but what i don't like are those movies where a comedian attempts to break into the big screen with a lame farce of a film.

This is not one of those movies. And I'm not even tell you what it's about, because you'll think it's lame and not see it. You have to see it.

I can enjoy crude bathroom humor when it's done right and this movie does it right! I'd never heard such great fart sound effects in a movie before and on our surround, it made me laugh till I almost peed a little. The toilet scene is reminiscent of Dumb & Dumber, but a regular old TV won't do it justice. You have to watch this movie on surround sound to get the full effect.

It's smart, not dumbed down and rounded out by a lovely cast including "Biff" of Back to the Future fame and the mom from "Grounded for Life" (who is excellent, by the way). I especially got a kick out of the window unit air conditioner in Larry's truck. If you have ever lived in the south, you know what I'm talking about. All of us southerners seem to know someone with a truck like this!

We laughed the whole way through. And I'm not an easy laugher. 'Nuff said.

Quite frankly, it insprired me, thoroughly. Made me wanna run out and quit my job so I could become a health inspector. I could probably never eat out again, but just think of the good I do for this city. (imagine a crowd with pitch forks and torches on my front lawn because the clean freak here had to go and close up 98% of the cities eateries)

Haven't seen this one yet, but I love the Blue Collar guys, so I'm sure it's funny.
