Watching the news with Shawn, I heard an interesting tidbit. There are cities that wish to outlaw baggy pants. There are already four cities in Louisiana that outlaw the showing of underpants.
Ok, Ok, I too think it's a ridiculous look, but I don't think it should be outlawed. Nothing is being exposed. No one should be fined for walking like a chicken to keep their pants up. No one should be cited for simply for looking like an idiot. If that were the case, the national deficit would have a surplus and we'd have no need for taxes.
"It's just so they can show off their thirty dollar underwear," Shawn says.
I agree. If you can afford thirty dollar underpants, by all mean, show them off. However there's no need to walk around with your pants waist at your knees. When I think of baggy pants, I think of Marky Mark.
*Shutter* UGH! Remember those days? But just look at Mark Wahlberg today. He's an accomplished actor, mature, and yes, he can afford thirty dollar underpants. When he was a dorky white boy running around with his underpants hanging out, I would have said no way! But today, let those drawers hang out a bit. You ain't hurting no one!
Has anyone complained of women's low-rise jeans with their thongs showing? (or most of their breasts, for that matter)
Are these boys hurting anyone or exposing risque' areas?
No matter how ridiculous these laws may seem and regardless of how stupid I believe this skinny-boy-with-pants-falling-down trend is, I think I've made my point.

I think if they could afford more than one pair of $30 undies, then they might not feel the need to show them off as much.
The funniest is when one of those guys' girlfriends buys them silk undies. Them pants ain't stayin' up no matter what. :D
Outlaw? Nah. Live and let live.
I agree...and I also agree it is much more offensive to see the lack of underpants we see when a girl's thong hangs out than the inches of boxers the boys choose to show.
