When we went to see Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, we saw this rockin' life size Silver Surfer. "I want it!" we exclaimed in unison. But it didn't fit in my purse and some movie theater lackey probably took it home to sell on eBay. I checked eBay. $300 is the starting price. Sigh. Oooh if I could get that Surfer into our house! I'd be Ultimate Comic Book Geek Girl! Saving movie memorabilia from their tragic ends! Leaping buildings in a single bound!
So Shawn's buddy, Joe says there's this awesome Simpsons couch scene at our very own theater!! EEEEEEEE. I gotta get it. I must have it. I will own it.
And it's not just for the mere fact that it's Simpsons. The reason I started the collection of figures is because it's fun and cool to look at and they talk. HOW COOL WOULD THAT COUCH BE IN MY LIVING ROOM???
It would be too cool to register on the cool scale. I gotta go to our theater and start making some friends. Anyone got a halter top and a push-up bra handy?

Ha ha ha, you work it girl. Too funny because all through the post I was wondering if you could just ask for it or if you'd have to pay for the simpson's couch then when you mentioned push-up bra I realized your tactics. I think you've got the right idea. Go in there and make them see eye to umm, and watch them fork it over with glee :).

That stuff is so tough to come by even at the theatres! The problem is kids like to hang on em, which usually tears them apart making them useless in the end. The last simpsons one i saw had maggie's head ripped off! Poor thing.....
