With a Little Help From My Friends

My buddy at work, Mike asked if I wanted to buy a TV.

"No," I replied. "Shawn's holding out for a flat screen so it'll be a couple years! I don't know anyone that needs a TV. But on the other hand, I don't have any friends."

"That's really sad, Misty," Mike said.
"I like it that way. If I wanted friends I'd go make friends!"
"More time for you, huh?"
"Yep!"

I like a quite life.
