What is MyPoints?

I signed up with MyPoints (look a bit higher at the ad) in February of 2003--I believe. It's really cool. They send you emails and all you have to do is open the email and click the link to the store, product, or service they are promoting. Most of the times, you get 5 points simply for looking at one of their emails.

I know, sounds scary--clicking links to God knows where--but you can tell the difference between a fake and a real MyPoints email. I've not had one single problem in all this time.

I've received a total of 15,350 points in all and have spent most of them

You can get gift cards to a ton of stores and restaurants, make donations, etc. They usually offer so many points per dollar with stores too. Like I get 2 points per dollar spent on eBay (yeah, like it's hard to spend Money on eBay!!) and 4 points per dollar spent with Circuit City, and so on.

For the most part, I've cashed in my points for $50 Wal-Mart gift cards and that helps when we're in a pinch to buy groceries--or have no fun money and want to get a DVD or something.

Let's see, I've gotten a card to Starbucks (Strawberry Frapachino in July, mmmmmm) and Chile's restaurant--usually I stick with the Wal-Mart cards. They're gonna pay for Christmas this year!

Get points for shopping from the comfort of your pajamas. Who needs pants?
