To Catch a Pervert

NBC's "To Catch a Predator" is a little known television show that popped up several months ago.

Chris Hanson and his team ambush perverts. Good TV.

A trained staff gets online, posing at adolescent girls, let the perverts come to them and invite them over while the parents are out for the weekend.

The pervert shows up.

Chris Hanson shows up.

The police show up.

It's the best TV since The Gong Show!!

These men are on the prowl (as in--they are after sex and only that) for young girls, around the age of 12 to 14, give or take. Ages of these men range from 18 to...the sky's the limit.

Ew.

I saw one dude who was actually quite young, lower twenties and not a total ugmo. He complained that he can't get a date.

Uh....isn't there like, a thousand websites and dating services designed for adults to find one another? Bars, churches, volunteer groups, the produce section at the market...wow the list could go on forever! And if a 20 year old is OK with a 14 year old--what's four more years? I mean, if you're into that kind of thing, there are plenty of adult women who look quite young.

I just don't get it! Even if I weren't married and was in the dating pool, I don't believe I could even possibly set my sights on any man younger than 18.

These girls are under developed! What's to look at, anyway? Yech, bunch of weird perverts out there, man. Just keep your kids under a tight leash, educate them on sexual predators--(especially those creepy 45 year old guys) and for Pete's sake--keep 'em off the internet. Get your kid an electric guitar or some baseball cleats. Yeesh.

And what's the deal with these perverts? Most of them have children at home!
They have daughters the same age!!

Ew.
This just further proves my point that a license should be obtained before having offspring. They require licences to drive, hunt, fish, even sell items. Why don't we require one for bringing a life into the world?

Thanks for the comment. I enjoyed reading the few that I did. I agree totally with the NASA post even though I just interviewed there last week(really hope I get the job too)...Looks like you've been doing this a while. I'm still just a beginner and loving it(blogging that is), keeps me busy at work. I'll get around to reading more.
