Quick! Check that man's feet!!

Shawn was watching America's Most Wanted on Saturday and 'ol John Walsh was describing a very bad fugitive and said the man--and I quote--

"...is easily identifiable because his right index toe is missing."

So....what are we supposed to do, go around jerking men's shoes off so we can "easily" identify this character?
