"What time is it?" Shawn asks in a panic.
"It's 8:11," I answered.
"I'm missing my show!!" he exclaims.
"What show?" I ask, completely honest--I had no idea.
"Hell's Kitchen!! It is Monday!!!!"
Ok, sorry. I didn't realize it had become such a staple in our house hold.
"You didn't miss anything," I say. "You wanna know what happened? Chef Ramsay yelled at some people, cursed at them, some people cried, then Chef cursed and yelled some more."
Shawn laughs.
Phew.
I've never seen an entire episode, still! I gotta sit down and and watch it sometime. I caught a few minuets last night and asked Shawn why everyone was in such a panic. What, are they in a race with each other to get the food cooked, or what??
"They have to serve people, Baby. They have people waiting for their food," he says matter-of-factly.
I reminded him of the time we once waited 30 minuets at Burger King for a meal. True, it was the last time we ate there, however I personally might wait that long for a gourmet meal (had I the money for one). Especially knowing it was fully cooked. These people rush around so crazily, the chicken might be half done. Undercooked chicken? Yeeeeek!

I know what its like to be addicted to the show. It's pretty much Ramsay's dynamic personality that makes the show. You laugh at their failures and cheer their successes. It's got those cliffhanger commercial breaks, and amazing previews for the next week! Basically it's better than anything else thats on on Mondays.

I prefer Top Chef, personally.
I started the show last night and saw saw a ball game on, so I switched. I'll try harder next week, maybe.
What's Top Chef?
