Bad Marketing on Simpson's Movie

I haven't bought or received any Simpson's stuff in a loooong time. I usually get stuff on my birthday or Christmas but last year I told everyone NO! I was just burnt out I guess. We've watched all our old movies over and over so I went back to my DVD sets of the Simpson's. I have seasons one through six and thought I might like to get season seven.

Because the Simpson's movie was released July 27, and there's Simpson's paraphernalia every where, season seven came with a t-shirt. I plainly thought, "Cool," until I opened it up. It was wrapped like a donut and even though I work at a dry cleaners, I should be able to get these wrinkles out, right?

Wrong! My boss, Allan had a shirt like this. It was a freebie from a company that makes presses. Cruel joke. I never did get all the wrinkles out. And to top it off, the Simpson's movie Tee is Fruit of the Loom. It's one of the cheapest brands out there. I stuck my finger under the fabric and could make out my finger prints on the other side!

While I was unraveling the Tee, Shawn thought it was stiff paper surrounding the shirt. "No. Uh-uh. That's the shirt," I replied.

So, don't get your hopes up if you get one. I've secured a 7-11 store to save their signage for me so I can add to the collection in the cheapest way possible. To see the collection, follow the link:

I have a few Simpson's shirts already--all gifts, but this one takes the cake!

Let me say right here that I am not a fanatic. The collection was spawned from our long ago love of action figures and every Christmas since has grown into a massive conversation piece for company.
