Fat Cows Descend Upon Runways World Wide

Ok, I'll admit I do have one vice and it's The Soup on channel E! It's a good wholesome half hour or making fun of celebrities. I love that show. Most of the time, it's REALLY funny. The only drawback? I have to turn the TV to channel E!

While waiting for the show to come on, I was forced to watch a program about celebrity news and goings on.

I did for once, happen learn something important enough to share with you all. Imagine that.

Three coounrties including Brazil and Spain, I think, have set guidelines for their fashion models.

I thought to myself, oh how nice...normal people! I mean, do the clothes really look presentable hanging off a walking skeleton? Doesn't exactly make me scream I GOTTA BUY THAT!!!

The average model is 5'9" and weighs 110 pounds. Ew.

Under the new guidelines, models must provide a clean bill of health from a leigitiamte doctor and be 5'9" weighing at least 123 pounds.

Whoa! That's practically a fatty on that there runway! Who dressed the bovine in Prada?



Are you serious? 123 pounds at 5'9" still looks like flesh and bones in an ugly design to me. To any dudes out there, to give you an idea, well--that's just way to skinny.

I am sure I could grow up to be just like those girls! I mean, I almost 26 years old, maybe it's not too late to start taking growth hormones! I already weigh 115 pounds, I'm almost there!

If only I could find the right pair of 9 inch heels. I've never seen a model that's 5 feet tall. Except in the children's section of the JC Penny weekly ads.
