Everybody Wins...

One of those politically correct states banned the game of tag in schools. It appears that it is "demeaning to the child who is 'it'". Apparently, some of the slower running children are losing self-esteem because the are, well losing.

You know who's responsible for all this, right? All the slow, chubby kids who are adults now. All the adults who weren't the quarter-back or the head cheerleader but instead cheer on from the stands of the pep sqaud.

Everyone gets a trohpy
There are no winners or losers
There is no score kept in this game

That's not life. In real life, there ARE winners and losers. In real life, there are those who go to college and make the big time. There are 7th place winners who work in a factory all their lives and know of nothing else. There are single mothers who work three jobs just to keep their kids fed, who they never see because their always at work.

We give our children cell phones with GPS tracking devices. We give our kids credit cards, "just in case". Our homes are wired with the most sophisticated alarm systems because no one can remember to feed the rotweiller.

These kids today, the ones with GPS tracking cell phones and government issued computer chips in their back, these kids will be the biggest bunch of wussies this worls have ever seen. They will be crying for Mom or either living inher basement spending their paychecks on comics books.

What's worse is that these kids will be taking CARE of us as we grow old. They will fight our wars--with what? A sling-shot? No, no. That's too dangerous. You might put someone's eye out.
