Staind (It's Been a While)

Ha ha. Staind came to the Expo Center last Wednesday to do a show. Apparently, the local radio station couldn't even tickets away. (really)

One of their lackies dropped off some laundry at the store and the girls were all drooling over themselves.

"Really?" I asked. "Are any of 'em even good looking? The only one I can picture is the fat one."

"He's not fat!" one said.

"Ok," I said. "He's a bit healthy."

I guess I don't get it. The music's OK, but it's nothing to get hot and bothered about. I already have the CD so $40 seems a bit much to pay to stand in line for an hour, then another hour for a soda, then get bruised up for three hours and be deaf the next morning.

I did that once before and it was in front of bands that rocked waaay more than Staind.

And by the way, that's a stoopid name. Better than Dork Star though.
