I'm Not Stupid, You Know

I love my eBay customers. I really do. Without them, we would'nt be doing the things we are doing. Without them, paying off my hospital bill would be a lot further away than it already is. Ah, but people are stilll people.

And I was never really a people person.

If you've found this blog through our eBay items, please LISTEN UP!! This is especially for YOU! I am not stupid, though I do have a few small requests. Realizing that i am not in the running for a Dee Dee Dee Award is my first request. (watch Mind of Mencia if you don't get that joke)

I know you have been burned in the past, so have I. I had someone mail me a Gameboy in an envelope! An envelope!!! Can you believe that?

We bought a very expensive football card that was mailed in a plain letter envelope. No padding, no air-filled plastic bubbles, nothing!

We have received broken items, incomplete items, poorly packaged items, and once, we never even received the item.

So I understand where you are coming from, believe me. I have been there many, many times and it made me a better seller because of it.

But please understand that while we are young in the eBay business, we are quite seasoned with three years of buying and selling experience between two eBay IDs. We are overly honest (see above post) and believe that quality is top priority (unless stated otherwise in auction description)--Ha ha.

So, let's get on with it:

Read my feedback. People often comment on our
fast shipping
good packaging

So I ask, please, don't ask me to package the item well. I don't usually make a habit of just wrapping an item in a plastic Wal-Mart bag and tossing it into a mailbox. (ha ha)

And, please don't ask to "Please ship ASAP!!!!!!"

That's annoys the @#^% outta me. I ship EVERY Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, sometimes on Saturday. I can't make the mail move any faster than it already doesn't. (ha ha)

And for my Canadian customers:

Please don't tell me exactly how to package the item, ship it, and fill out the customs form. Next time this happens, I'm just gonna give you my home address so you can come over, pack the item, fill out the form, take it to the post office, and mail it it yourself. By the time you get home, I assure you, it will at least be floating around in customs.

Ah, can I get a chuckle?

When in doubt, read the feedback. I NEVER put the full total on the customs form, only the value of the item. To do otherwise would be like charging tax on shipping costs to my Texas customers. And that would just be wrong. Just plain wrong.

I would NEVER do something that I wouldn't want done to me, unless otherwise stated in auction description.

Ha ha.

All I'm really asking is to...well, lighten up! Let's have fun with it. (I already am; read my feedback replies)

Oh, and while I'm at it....

Please, for the sake of all that is right and just in the world! Please don't pull a shipping amount out of your bum! If you've bought more than one item, I will send you a total. I know you want to pay quickly so I can ship it, and I really do appreciate that, but making up a shipping total out of thin air is slowing down the whole process.

Thank you and have a nice day.
Ok, now, have some fun with it!
