Walk on American, Walk On...

"How do they raise money for walkathons?" I asked Shawn.

"People donate money for each mile you walk," he said.

So I got to thinking... Couldn't charities make as much money without clogging up the streets? I just don't really see the point of getting 20,000 people to walk.

I think it's just to get Fat America off their Fat Butts. Think of it. How often do you hear of a "heart walk"? It's nothing more than a ploy to get unhealthy people off their couches. What a scam!
