Speaking of parks...

Did I tell you that a few years ago our city used OUR tax dollars to build the movie theater? We had two, but they were closed as soon as the new one in the mall opened. Yeah, it's in the mall.

A friend of mine said that if WE were paying for the theater, we ought to be able to smoke, drink beer, and bring in our own food.

I said we ought to at least get a free ticket to the movie of our choice. Whoever owns that theater is a wise businessman. Imagine getting the city to pay for it! Wish I could get in on that action...
