At work, we have a wash and fold service so I see my fair share of tighty whities. Now, as you know women are prone to stains that men are not. We are always excreting fluids and do have the occasional "I thought my period was done" moment. Before you OH GROSS, we're all adults here, so get over yourself.
Regardless of what women have to deal with on a daily basis, I am quite certain that we all can properly wipe our behinds. Since starting my job over two years ago, I have realized that we all cannot accomplish such daily chores.
So my main beef is not about the skid marks that I do not care to see on a daily basis, but instead I'd like to take up my concern with the underpants producers:
Why do you make WHITE underwear???
Obviously women have gained color in their underwear for quite some time now, and not only due to the fact that certain pairs become wash-day-only panties. Men have only recently seen a surge in colored underpants and yet they still continue to purchase white briefs and still continue to wipe their behinds with them.
Which brings me to my next point. My brother-in-law had once witnessed me folding the laundry and made the comment to Shawn that colored underwear, they say, can infect the urethra. The dyes in the lint can get all up inside you and cause an infection.
So, um....why would it matter if it were dyed? White lint, believe it or not, is bleached and dyed as well. I would suppose the matter of lint itself getting into one's urethra would cause a horrible infection.
Needless to say, Shawn and I both prefer colored underpants, and our future children will also be wearing colored underpants.

That is so grossly funny. And that is why my son only has DARK coloured underwear. I have never had a problem with my urethra from my linty knickers - that sounds like some hideous urban myth. Either that or someone should change the washing powder.

UTIs can happen because of undies, but it's the material, not the color. Colorful undies are often made of synthetic fibers that don't breathe as well as cotton, and can lead to UTIs, yeast infections, etc etc.

That is hilarious. I read this to Damian and he was dying too! His comment "with the new wipes these days there is no reason to leave marks behind."
6 months ago I turned him onto the Charmin "moist" wipes.
I've kept & used baby wipes on the back of the toilet for years. People often make fun of me but their great for quick cleaning around the toilet, sink and ahem, other things.
Clorox didn't come up with the toilet wipes--I did!! :-D
(don't wipe yourself with Clorox wipes, by the way--that's why baby wipes are so universal)
