We had the last of our merchandise shipped regular mail and the mail man came while I was still at work. It came a couple days after Shawn's surgery, so he answered the door on Vicoden and crutches.
The mailman set them on the floor of the porch. Shawn politely asked if he could kick them inside the door--being that he was on crutches and all and couldn't bend down.
Shawn stood with his armpits holding up the crutches, hands out to open the door, watching the dogs so they didn't run out the front door. Mailman places both packages in Shawn's hands and runs away.
What a turd.
Shawn sort of stands there for a couple minuets, trying to figure out how to get boxes and himself to table. He never did tell me how he did it. Probably used a freaky Jedi mind trick.
See my new post about a lost UPS package, 'bout third post down from here. Stupid Draft put it on the day I started it, not the day i finished it.
Arrrrr!

Just came over after the comment you left on my blog (thanks for that by the way).
Really like your blog, had a good read and will be back.
One thing though your review of Ghost Rider actually failed to mention the only decent part in it...the kung fu chimp. When does he get his own movie?
It's been a while since I've seen it--I don't remember a chimp! (don't remember one in the comics, either...)
It's during a scene where Johnny Blaze is watching TV and happens across a TV show with a chimp doing kung fu. It's a sad fact that this was the highlight of the movie for me.
Being a bit of a geek though I'll always go and watch these movies and will probably even watch a sequel to GR if one comes out,
Ash.
Oh yeah! I remember now. Well if the Geico cavemen can get their own show, bet your money that the kung fu chimp can too :o)
Nothing wrong with being a geek. I am geek. Hear me roar (makes bad Wookie impression)
