Still Here

One of our neighbors used to say that. When we first moved in, there would be an elderly man getting his morning walk on. "How ya doing?" we'd ask.

"Well....I'm still here," he'd reply.

Neither one of us knew exactly what to say to that except for, "That's good!" So yeah, I'm still around. Work has been pretty nuts this week and Monday and Tuesday were positively awful. I suppose it could be worse. I suppose I could be complaining that I'm still here.

We recently got into newer systems with our little eBay thing. Shawn wanted me to figure out how to download to a PSP. He accidentally downloaded a demo game to my photo files.

Tsk. Tsk. I'm not really computer savvy. I'm pretty much computer stupid. But I don't mind reading as much as Shawn does. Last night, I spent almost 2 hours reading about PSP on their website. 2 hours building up a headache and playing with the memory stick. Two hours reminiscing about the days of old and original Nintendo.

Sigh. It's a super cool little gadget, don't get me wrong. It's just that it does SO MUCH. I gotta get this thing figured out.

Anyone know how I can scoot my eBay thing over the left? The PSP hurt my brain. Brain is full.

You asked about moving the ebay link to the left...

If you go to the dashboard, the side bar should have a link that says "Add a Page Element". If you can find the html code for the ebay thingy, insert the code into the side bar using the "Add a Page Element" option, most likely under the choice "HTML/Java Script"

Does this help?

Archiving does work properly, but I have over 300 posts and wanted to display the best of it to the right--which I have done so far. However, it's getting kinda long! Archiving does not disply hand picked items; wasn't happy with it

Oh, and someone left me a reply on the board with some html to shrink the eBay box and add photo to the right hand side of it. Add Page Element doesn't seem to matter since the template boxes are elongated and seems to place it int he middle every time But I do appreciate your help!

Still here... still cracking me up. I say that all the time, and have no idea why.

Considering the sheer number of posts, I thought you'd probably tried those suggestions - but I suppose it was worth a shot. Perhaps eBay has a different sized link you could use? You've probably already looked that one up to, right?

Have you tried one of the "3 column" templates? I found links to them yesterday in the Group Help area, while I was trying to find some tweaks. Of course, I'm afraid to try them, because then I'll have to reformat it all again - eventually I'll get there.

Great blog by the way :-) I added you to my blogroll... who knows maybe I'll get your eBay some more hits :-)

Just posted a lengthy question on the help boards again....Don't think I'll ever have blog looking the way I want it. I'm sorta obsessive compulsive though... I ought to have a therapist. Oh, wait I do: The blog. And other people's blogs....
