Racy Ads

Mom complains that the covers of Cosmopolitan Magazine are not meant for small eyes (she places them on the top racks). You should see the inside, Mom!

Most that I have seen are not too bad, considering that we have all lowered our standards due to everyday media. I ended up using some of my Coke Points to get a free subscription to Cosmo. Not that I have time to read them, but I manage somehow.

Anywho, I saw an ad for Armani in a recent issue. Now, when I think Armani, I think high-end, overpriced, designer men's suit. This was an ad for Armani underwear (I think)

It was a simple ad displaying a man in a simple pair of white briefs only he was....Um...How should I put this...?

....really excited to be at this particular photo shoot. I couldn't believe they put this in a regular magazine!! I was a bit shocked. I have become desensitized to boobs, beginning with magazine photos of women giving themselves breast exams. Then slowly, boobs starting popping up all over Cosmo. Not sure why. It's a lady's magazine. I can see boobs any time I want. I don't want to look at boobs.

Of course, this leads one to believe that it will get your man to flip through Cosmo (they don't) and so they have to even it out, I suppose by placing an ad with a dude in his underwear who is either just waking up from a nap, or really excited that it's Thursday or something.

An ad for underwear? Hardly.
