We've blown up 2 out of the last 10 shuttles, the one currently in space has a hole in it due to a piece of foam hitting a tile.
Best thing NASA can do is put some caulk on it and attempt to bring it home.
Last shuttle gas gauge didn't work:
"Houston we have a problem...Yeah, I flicked it."
Shuttle goes 12,000+ mph. My bathroom goes 0 mph and tile still falls off walls.
Why does NASA always go with the lowest bidder on building shuttles? Sure, that's something you do when you need a new roof put on your house, but our lives don't depend on whether the roof leaks or not.
