Bread Crumbs

A while back I was asking around on how to promote my blog as I had no idea how to advertise. I'd give the web address to friends, coworkers, church members, random bums on the street...

Didn't work. Bums don't have home computers.

Many, many people told me to view other blogs, leave a comment here and there, and the rest will find me.

OK, I said. I don't have time to read other blogs so I'll pop in, check the content, leave a quick and friendly comment and move on....

I didn't expect to become addicted to other blogs. I found a few that I really like and that means I spend the time that I'd reserved for leaving my bread crumbs on other blogs--by reading only those I got sucked into.

I haven't had much time to leave any crumbs any where else, I'm afraid. One of the biggest problems I had was actually liking some of the blogs I found. Others....well, let's just say I was more or less appalled by the things I have seen and my backspace button is worn out.

Whoa, there! I didn't need to know everything about you, inside and out. Some things are just better left unsaid. I think as far as the blogging world goes, there a lot of unstable folks out there.
