When we went to see the Pirates movie yesterday we sat through 36 movie previews, as always. And yet another ad for an X-Men clone movie. It seems these are coming out of the woodwork ever since Spiderman and X-Men did well at the box office.
This time, it appears that Tim Allen is Prof. X leading a group of teens to save the world. Sound familiar? These X-Men clone movies are usually Ok, nothing spectacular, but good wholesome family fun. (I just watched Sky High and it was pretty good. Good campy fun but funny at times and bearable for the adults in the family as well)
On the other hand... TRANSFORMERS! MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE
Yes, kiddies, it's a movie now! And they hail from Mars, apparently! I wonder how they'll screw up this one....
