There is NO Justice fo Kalie

I watch Glenn Beck on HNN (CNN Headline News) now and then and he's been following the story of this chick named Kalie--something--I forget her last name.

It happened in Colorado Springs, I believe, about 2 years ago. Kalie is a young woman with the IQ of 50...about the same as a standard four year old. She attended a local high school where she was assigned a "peer buddy".

Kalie's peer buddy was a 15 year old boy with a grade point average of 0.0 and had been suspended from the school 20 times. Beck will not go into detail but the jist of the story is that this boy sexually molested Kalie at the school in a stairwell.

The girl was found sitting alone singing, "Up and down, up and down."

Kalie, who had always been polite and extremely friendly, didn't know a stranger. Her demeanor had suddenly changed to withdrawn and closed and she became violent towrads men. She even attacked a couple of male teachers at the school.

So the school kicked Kalie out.

Wait. Go back...
What happened to the 15 year old boy who had done this to Kalie?

He was given 2 weeks in jail and set free.

The mother of Kalie intially decided not to sue the school for Kalie's mistreatment and being kicked out of school. But then...

The school actually released a letter stating that Kalie enjoyed the molestation.

After the behavoral changes in Kalie, that kid getting only 2 weeks in jail, the school kicking Kalie out instead of helping her, and suggesting that Kalie liked the molestation... Kalie's mother has finally decided to take action against the school and sue them.

Good for her and more as this develops.

Beck attempted to make contact with various officials in the school and the mayor of the city. With no response from anyone, it was brought to attention that the mayor was too busy to respond since he was spending most of his time trying to use tax payer's dollars on the Rodeo Hall of Fame.

Now this guy is going to run for congress. Seriously.

I'll try to get the name and post it in an update. For now, do we want someone like this in congress? He has done nothing to help the situation.

And what about the judge that oversaw the case of the 15 year old boy? I do not know his or her name but I'd like to find out. What sort of a person hands out a 2 week jail sentence to someone that would molest a girl with the IQ of a four year old.

This boy is only 15. He's got plently of good years ahead of him and plenty of time to attack other young girls. He ought to be in jail for at least 30 years.

With a grade point average of 0.0 and being suspended a whopping 20 times, why was this boy even in the Peer Buddy program?

I'll tell you why. I've seen it time and time again. His parents are probably on some Commitee or friends with so-and-so at the school. They're obviously REAL good friends with the judge.

As I hear more about this horrid event and what's going on--I'll let you know. Until then, find out what the minimum sentences are for rape and molestation in your state and lobby to have them raised.

I've been following this on his show too. I'm not quite sure what this country is coming to ... but it isn't anything good. Not when criminals have more rights than the victims.
