Follow up on "My Body"

So you say that a fetus is nothing. It's just a "blob".

If you can develop from such a blob, why couldn't this blob develop into an intelligent being? What's the difference being killing said "blob" and a prematurely born infant?

Let's say a woman gives birth to a baby that is 3 months early. That means, the infant had only 6 months to grow in the womb. What if the woman goes into labor 2 1/2 months into the pregnancy?

Sure, it's a little crazy, but let's think hypothetically. If the baby could be born that soon into development and put into a little jar of synthetic fluid and allowed to develop, is it still a baby? Could it grow to be like regular folks?

Then why is it ok to kill it at such an early time? Would anyone ever think of aborting a cute bundle of litter of puppies. No?

Why would you?! They are still living creatures, intelligent eventually, even if at the point of underdevelopment. If a grown man cannot speak, cannot walk, cannot even feed himself, does he become as a "blob"?
Or merely inconveinent to the caretaker's lifestyle?
