Did Stan "The Man" Lee Sell Out?

On the SciFi channel there's a new show called So You Wat to be a Super Hero?
(check local listings)

Stan Lee, creator of reknowned characters such as the X-Men, Spiderman, etc chose several regular people to compete on his show.

Ok, here's the deal. Grown men and women dressed up in the most ridiculous costumes and acted in character of a super hero they invented. The chosen ones will compete in a series of activities to test their moral skills and blah, blah, blah.

It is kinda funny, though. The winner gets a comic book based on his or her character and an original movie on SciFi.

"This is stupid," I said as I was watching and Shawn had walked in. Everyone runs around in their tights acting the fool and all cry (really) at the end when it's time for elimination rounds. "I won't fail you again, Mr. Lee!"

HA HA! When the show was over we both noticed the Dark Horse Comics logo on screen.

"OH!" we both said. "Now, that makes sense!" I laughed. "Didn't Dark Horse go bankrupt?"

"I think so," Shawn said. "Maybe a couple times! Did Stan Lee buy Dark Horse?"

Maybe we will never know. But here's a funny tidbit:

There's a chick on the show called The Creature. She's basically naked wearing a shirt that is a total of 4 inches long. There's another chick called Fat Momma. She had donuts hanging from her utility belt. They give her strength like Popeye's spinach.

Creature said, "I don't donuts are a good role model for kids."

I looked at Creature's teeny tiny skirt and the exposed 12 inches or so between the waistband of the skirt and her belly button. I said, "I don't think exposed pubic hair is a great role model, either."

Ha ha!

So did Lee sell out? I don't think so. I really think the man is just bored. He's pretty done it all and has had enough money do go everywhere and buy everything he wants. Yep, he's probably just bored.

And a workaholic.
