OH FOR THE LOVE OF PETE I CAN'T TAKE IT!!

On Monday, my car was slightly scratched by another car door opening too quickly and too carelessley.

Today, Wednesday, my car was DENTED by the same occurance.

Now, I hate to get so riled up over something that is really meaningless and won't matter to me when I am on my death bed but, really, I've had it!

I pay $270 a month on my car, plus full coverage insurance, registration tags, inspection, regular oil changes, etc. I keep it up, keep it clean, and I take care of it.

Not because I define myself by my vehicle or because I take great pride in it--but rather because I pay TWO-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY DOLLARS A MONTH for it!! I am sick of the total disregard for your fellow man. I am sick of being nice and cheerful when I really just want to punch somebody in the face!

"...and you want to avoid a confrontation not knowing people these days," the guy at the post office said to me after a discussion of the above topic.

"Right, you never know who's gonna shot you!" I said.

I knowThe Guy At The Post Office since I'm there 3 times a week for eBay purposes. He knows how I like to ship my stuff but we aren't on a first name basis or anything since we don't know each other's names. But he's cool.

"A friend of mine leaves nasty little notes on people's cars when he gets a ding!" Guy At Post Office laughs. "He keeps little cards with him with the nastiest notes!"

When I first got the car, I would park a mile away from the stores because I was so paranoid. But then I got comfortable and lazy--I walk all day at work and I am tired, you see.

Well, after that DENT in the car today, I had one more stop to make so I parked roughly five miles away from the grocery store.

But even that isn't enough. People leave they're shopping carts just where ever they feel like because they're too fat and lazy to walk the cart the ten feet to the cart corral.

Makes me absolutely SICK! I ALWAYS walk my cart back in hopes that karma will return the favor. How can people can be so inconsiderate of each other?

I thought about typing up some little nasty little cards to keep in my glove box but I don't intend to park near anyone anymore. I guess it's just more that I'll have to take out of my free time to walk the distance. Doesn't seem that big a deal to you, but I shouldn't have to readjust my habits simply because people are turds.
