You're Kiddin' Me, Right?

Ok, the first pic is of the garbage pile that resulted in the rotten tree. I just thought you might like to see it.

The second pic is of our neighbor's backyard. Check this out: The pic is not in some weird perspective. I was standing pretty close to the fence when I took it. To the left, you'll notice there is a structure. That's the house, and right in front is a small tree.

But wait! There's more! See the jungle directly in the middle? That's not thoughtfully placed trees. That's all overgrown weeds.

Why am I showing you this? For spite, basically. When we first moved in, our neighbor was ALWAYS leaving fliers for yard maintenance companies on our door. I know it was him, trust me. Like I've said, we're not the best of yard people, but COME ON!

At least we mow occasionally. Our yard may not look like some botanical garden, but at least it ain't the rain forest this dude's got in his backyard.

(No one lives in the house next door--not sure why the owner keeps it. When we first moved in, he used to come over about once a month an scald us for our rotted tree while letting his own back yard grown into a jungle. We've had possums some over into our backyard from next door! There is a beehive the size of Kansas in the backyard. The nerve of this guy!)
