Wonderful News!! I Gotta Share It

Mom called me last night and told me my nieces had been saved. They go to this thing called Trail Blazers on Wednesday nights which is a kind of fun Sunday School for kids and teens.

My nieces, Kristin and Kimberly, are only 8! They're a set of twins that originally fought to survive upon birth (that story is coming soon) They've had so many questions lately and I think this news is wonderful!

The girls said the Sinner's Prayer in front of everyone and I pray they will make an impression on the rest of the family. I got the feeling my sister was less than over excited but no matter; I feel that one has to be blind before they can see.

This past Christmas, Kristin saw an ad for that movie, The Exorcism of Emily Rose (I believe that's the correct title) and the commercial talked about demons. She asked, "What's a demon?" and no one knew quite how to answer it.

I thought about it for a couple hours and gently told her, "You know how God has angels? Well, the devil has demons." And that was it. I didn't want to scare the poor child but she seemed to understand and be satisfied with that answer (Thank God!)
